Matt brings with him 14+ years of experience in the communications and advertising industries. His broad experience spans from graphic design, animation, branding, creative concept development, marketing, interactive, and brand strategy on national and global level campaigns.
Born and raised in DC, Matt spent his career in New York and San Francisco before returning home and joining Pixeldust in 2016. Matt began his career as an Art Director on Madison Avenue, at TBWA\Chiat\Day. His first client was Absolut Vodka, where he created two back-to-back summer campaigns for the US market. Other clients on Matt’s roster included Sprint, American Express, A&E Networks, and Nivea. In 2006, he then helped cofound a marketing company in New York which is still in operation today.
Moving from New York to San Francisco, Matt worked as an Associate Creative Director, leading the creative product on high profile accounts including Genentech, Pfizer, Amgen, Abbott, and St. Jude. His background in science and art has been invaluable in making connections between complex concepts and clear, compelling storytelling.
Matt holds a psychology degree from Yale University. He has an extensive background in fine arts, as a painter and photographer, having won several artist grants, scholarships, and awards.
