

Pixeldust collaborated with Indigo Technologies to create a promotional video showcasing the revolutionary Indigo Flow, an electric vehicle (EV) designed for commercial applications such as ride-hail and delivery services. Through a blend of live footage and high-end 3D animation, the video illustrates why Indigo Flow is the future of commercial-use electric vehicles.
A REALISTIC APPROACH
To bring Indigo’s vision to life, Pixeldust leveraged advanced 3D modeling and animation to produce a visually compelling narrative that captures the essence of the Indigo Flow. We meticulously crafted hyper-realistic scenes of the vehicle navigating an urban landscape, highlighting its sleek design, cutting-edge features, and technological advancements.
Our approach included dynamic camera angles to showcase the Flow from every perspective. Low-angle shots emphasized the vehicle’s robust design and road presence, while high and wide angles provided a comprehensive view of its elegant form and functionality. Interior cabin shots as the vehicle moved through the city offered an intimate glimpse into the spacious interior, detailing the dashboard’s sleek design and the Flow’s capacity to comfortably accommodate multiple passengers.
By combining these diverse perspectives with seamless transitions between live-action footage and fully rendered 3D animations, we created a captivating visual experience. This approach not only highlights the Flow’s innovative features but also ensures the video resonates with both commercial stakeholders and everyday consumers.
AN INSIDE LOOK
A central focus was highlighting the Flow’s groundbreaking interior features and precise design. This was achieved through the use of slow-motion animations and detailed visual breakdowns.
One of the standout elements of the video is the showcase of Indigo’s patented Smart Wheels technology. Using an “exploded” wheel animation, we deconstructed the wheel into its individual components, revealing every detail—down to the sensors, screws, and the cutting-edge direct-drive propulsion system. This visual approach not only underscores the precision engineering of the wheels but also demonstrates how their advanced shock absorption and sensor feedback mechanisms contribute to a smoother, more comfortable ride. We also simulated real-time interactions between the shocks and the road, illustrating how the Smart Wheels system adapts to various terrains to deliver a ride that feels stable and refined.
BIRD'S EYE VIEW
To illustrate Indigo’s vision for scalable technology, we created a bird’s eye view of an abstract cityscape, where multiple Flow vehicles navigate urban environments. The animation showcases how the Flow seamlessly integrates with the cloud, sending and receiving real-time data to optimize routes, monitor performance, and ensure a smarter transportation network. This wide-scale perspective reinforces the Flow’s potential for transforming urban mobility at a systems level. To maintain visual cohesion, the wide-scale view mirrors the style and detail of the close-up animations, creating a sense of synchronicity between the macro and micro levels.
